The Cactus Cooler is an incredibly popular drink out here in Orange County, and I think it has its origins somewhere around this area.

It tastes nearly identical to the soda that was consumed on a daily basis by my Mormon friends in high school, and if you’re looking to corrupt one of them with some liquid sin, then look no further.

This is a drop shot, or a deep-sixer, which means you’re going to drop the shot glass into a pint glass. To do this without making a mess, simply hold the shot glass along the inner wall of your pint glass, and let it slide on in. By doing this, you should be able to minimize the amount of liquid that splashes out onto the carpet/counter-top/your girlfriend’s blouse.

It’s a lighter shot, but enough of these can sneak up on you and leave you floored.
